Description

The evening started as follows: Alexis, Akron, Haukku, Ink, Kleopatra and Krystal were gathered around the couch, their TV turned on just like Pokéflix. “So, what are we gonna watch?” Kleo asked, floating around the others. “How about some Detective Pikachu? I heard they released a new season!” Haukku shouted and sat down on the big sofa, next to Alexis. She merely shrugged “Go ahead and put on what you like. I don’t mind.” “Come on, sis! Don’t always be like that!” Ink said from behind, crawling to Kleo, Haukku and Lex. “You have legs, brother. Use them…” she just said and yawned. Kleo rolled her eyes while Haukku and Ink giggled. Suddenly, Akron danced out of the kitchen – Popcorn in hand and Krystal in his hair. “Have you decided what we are watching?” He asked and sat down as well, placing the bowl of popcorn onto the table. “Yep! We are going to watch the new season of Detective Pikachu!” Haukku said with a grin, Ink and Kleo nodding. Lex just added “As long as we don’t watch anything scary…” Akron laughed and Krystal almost fell out of his hair. “Be careful when you laugh… please!” she said, slightly panicking. “Sorry, Kryssie. Didn’t mean to almost drop you.” He giggled and patted her head. Kleo and Ink then sat somewhere on the couch as well, they all found their own place on there. How big was that couch anyway?! Akron then took the remote control and selected “Detective Pikachu Season X” and pressed start.

As the intro was rolling, small chatting between Krystal and Kleo could be heard “Do you think that introduced any new characters? Or make this the final season?” “Could you guys stay quiet? I mean … it is just the intro but still.” Alexis said, groaning but the others agreed with her. “True, it is annoying to hear you two chatting while we try and focus.” Haukku added. “Sorry…” the two smaller Pokémon said and as the episode truly began, their eyes were locked on the screen. Everyone was almost hypnotized by the TV-Show in front of them, consuming the Popcorn like it was the only food left on the planet. After a few episodes, Ink got up and grabbed a drink for everyone, placing the bottles on the table. The Popcorn needed some refreshing as well. “Stop the episode. I will go and make some new Popcorn and get some chips.” Akro said as he got up and walked into the kitchen, Krystal still in his hair. Stretching, Alexis sighed “Who could have guessed that they managed to keep the series as entertaining as ever.” “Right?! I am super impressed!” Haukku said, Kleo nodded. After a few minutes, Akron returned with the “food supplies” and said “We have enough for the whole night!” “WHOOOO!!!” they all screamed in union as their larger friend sat down and placed the stuff on the table. “Everybody here and ready? Let’s continue!” he said and pressed “Play”.

They really managed to stay up all night. Not even one was tired, only thing that got tired was the WiFi. “Weird… we have much longer loading times than before… why is that?” Ink wondered as the others shrugged. “Maybe we watched too much?” Krystal said with a yawn, at least one was getting a bit tired. Akron giggled “It is properly nothing. We have to wait a bit longer for the episodes to load. And? Won’t stop us, right?” “True that, Akron.” Lex said with a smile, Kleo agreeing with her friend. So they continued their Detective-Pikachu-a-thlon and as one episode stopped loading at all, they groaned in frustration.
“Seriously?! Right when it was getting interesting and exciting?!” Alexis shouted enraged, Kleo huffing in anger. “Okay… that never happened before. What is up with the WiFi?” Akron wondered and stood up. Ink and the others got up as well, saying “We will fix this real quick.” Haukku opened the door and they all went outside. Before that, Akron grabbed the WiFi antenna. Everyone but Krystal complained the entire time – little Kryssie fell asleep in Akrons hair a while ago. “Alexis, climb on top of Ink and you then make yourself as tall as possible!” the Gallade/Bouffalant ordered, the two siblings following his instructions immediately. “Open up.” He said as well and Ink opened his mouth, Akron carefully placing the antenna in his mouth. As Ink shut his mouth again, holding the antenna, Kleo tried to get a signal again by moving the object around. “Get a bit taller if you can, Ink!” Haukku said, as she sat down and looked up at her friends. “Impf trypfing!” he mumbled. “You don’t with your mouthful, brother…” Alexis said from top of his head and giggled. He sighed and smiled while Akron and Kleo tried to fit the WiFi signal with the antenna.
All that happened without Kryssie noticing anything…
