Ok, so this was actually taking more time than I expected. I got bad feelings about my current shading style that I used in my last pictures.Maybe you think it looks good, but It wasn't that funny to doing the same thing over and over and over again. So I tried on something new
Cell shading. This is the first one of my drawings I guess that I really can say that I've used cell shading on :')
Wanna' give a very big thanks to for helping me by giving me some useful tips and a description of how her expressions about cell shading is ^^
She also gave me a link to *TamberElla 's shading tutorial that was very helpful for me!

Not bad at all for first time! This is actally really good! You did really nice work with the colours etc,Β
and since you asked for a critique, here I come ^^
I like the whole picture but there is one main problem. No definition of your main light source.Β The background is a bit more clear in the light source
(it comes from the right side of the picture since the lights there are more bright) but the wolf's shading confuses me.
You can notice that: the light in head comes from your right hand if you raise it in front of your screen.Β
In the main body, the light comes from under the wolf, and in the tail, it comes from above. Three diferent light sources. Of course, it is not bad
to have many light sources, but you have to have a main one and balance everything else. Start with one light source for now and try
to understand how shapes work c: I don't mind much about the anatomy, maybe the head could be a bit smaller. The shading is what
makes everything a bit "confused" here. So that's why you might not like the wolf in total. Try referencing some pictures, with no details at all,
just define where the shape of the light and the shading is. After all, when you shade, you can create muscules etc. So pay a lot of attention in
your light source, it is super important! It won't be easy, but after you practice you'll see the difference ^^ don't give up!
Heh, enough with the mistakes, I'll tell you what I like the most~ I really like the design of this wolf, mostly it's accessories ^^ they have a very
nice movement, and I also like the clock neckalce. Oh, and I would also lie to point out another thing that I see many people do it.
Some wolves have more fur, some others don't but you much not let the fur affect you in the way you put accessories.
Don't be afraid to "cut" the fur to add an accessorie. It will make it more realistic and interesting is around the neck of the animal and not it's fur,Β

Yeah... I wrote that in the artist comments that I was a bit frustrated with the shading and I will try my hardest to think of that you said about the lightsource. The head was the hardest part to shade, especially the forehead.
I guess I do have to practise with some photo references again soon, cause my anatomy is a bit crappy.
xD I saw you notices that the head is a bit to big.Β That's actually one of my biggest anatomy problems :/ I can't get it smaller, it does always turn too small then. But I'll try my hardest toΒ change that.

Well, don't be frustrated c: mistakes are good, not bad!
Most people believe that their "art improvement will go only up in statistics".
That's so wrong. Improvement will allways go up and down in statistics, because the more
mistakes you dom the more you learn, the more fun is. Don't be afraid to make mistakes c:
And if it makes you feel better, my super huge problem is the head too.
I always make them super big, no lies. Especially in my old drawings, and I still make them super
big compared to the body sometimes c: It's all about practicing and getting used to it c:

The head is so hard D: well.... But I Think the heads in your drawings is just awesome
You're so great in coaching people in the way they're painting.
Your way of helping is so useful and at the same time it's not "ruining" the artists style of painting c: You schould make some tutorials sometime ^^

Don't be afraid to experiment and make everything "perfect".
You don't have to make everything perfect. Just play around with anatomy,
find out how it works, the analogies and trust me, you'll improve in no time!
