This picture you've done of Sonic and Tails confronting Metal Sonic looks very nice, and I'll admit that it also happens to be one of the most challenging boss fights that I've experienced in "Sonic Mania" as well.

You're welcome, and I also ended up having to lose a few lives before memorizing the pattern of the boss fight, particularly the sequence involving the Silver Sonics that you mentioned because you had to bounce them towards the machine while also avoiding the energy blasts that Metal Sonic unleashed.

Well technically there was Silver Sonic and Mecha-Sonic before him, but they were nowhere near as potent as Metal Sonic, especially since they didn't last as long as him, and didn't perform nearly as well.
