I don't typically like saying that a person's work reminds me of somebody else's art, because I'm always afraid that it'll cheapen the artwork in the creator's or someone else's eye (I hope that makes any sense), but this piece is very Hayao Miyazaki/Studio Ghibli. Not so much because of the setting and characters (which are typical Miyazaki subjects) but because of the innocence and charm displayed it, as well as being a watercolor.
I like it very much.

I'd definately agree with the Iron Giant comparison. Ever read the book? It's great. That should be properly illustrated one day. It's a got a great big space dragon in it!!! That sings...and is as big as australia!! And The Iron Giant goes at it with fists!!!
