This series of pictures is a OC mass effect story where Shepard have created a disruption in the dimensional balance of the universe and lands in an alternative universe where the Reapers never existed. Many events therefore turns out differently and the people of the universe are shaped differently by the events, sometimes becoming very different from the originals.
Also the year is 2191, 5 years after ME3 original timeline

Rana Thanoptis is a "scientist", demonstrating that madness and genius really are different sides of a coin.
She may pretend to be young when it suits her, but Rana has been around for hundreds of years, going back before the Great Galactic War in 1430.
Even before the war, Rana was working for the Turian Empire. She was the mastermind behind the destruction of Dekuuna, the Elcor homeworld which was the spark that really set the galactic war aflame.
Rana's parents were both Asari, despite that it had become illegal for two Asari to have children years earlier. She grew up bullied and joined a pure blood cult early in her life.
While some classify her as crazy or mad, while she is somewhat sociopathic, she really possesses a brilliant mind.
