delicious composition, i could virtually lick it. its eyecatching even as it was in thumbnail view, a cover of an LP indeed. i dont listen to David Sanborn, but this piece has a jazzy air about it.

Nice to have someone enjoy The Band this much. David Sanborn is a marvelous sax player, and I used the cover from one of his LP's as a starting point and reference of inspiration --- maybe you should give old David a try...
Oh and yes - it has a jazzy feeling.
