Description
This is inspired by so many things! Mainly Rogers and Hammerstein's Cinderella and concepts by Lorelay Bove for Tangled.Cinderella is a beautiful story by itself. The Disney version is a masterpiece, but there is something magical about the music of Rogers and Hammerstein! I can't get the songs out of my head!
I also think Audrey Hepburn snuck in there somehow!
Impossible things truly are happening everyday! I try to remember that whenever I feel down.

At first I thought this was Josephine de Beauharnais, Napoleon's first wife. She looks just like her, this is amazing.

Love this song. I ws trying to find some art for this scene (especially Cinderella in her beautiful ball gown) because I'm totally impressed by Broadway Revival cast. Well, I'm quite satisfied. I've found a really nice picture :3

So is the character-herself meant to be a Disney character or what?

LOVE it and LOVe that version. Was so happy when it came out on DVD.. all the bonus features and stories, like that while they were filming her head already singing she still didn't have her shoes on in the LIVE to TV Broadcast? Great stuff from a great performer!

Awesome! I like that version a lot! Especially with Julie Andrews! She does look a little bit like Audrey Hepburn...^^ I also like Ever After, with Drew Barrymore.

I recognized this right away as the Rogers and Hammerstein Cinderella. I love the show, and the songs are happily stuck in my head. Thanks for a shimmering, magical picture. Yes, there is a bit of Audrey Hepburn in the picture, but My Fair Lady and Cinderella are sort of the same story.

I love this. Even as a child, though I love all things Disney, I preferred the Rogers and Hammerstein Cinderella to the Disney one. This reminds me a bit of the Lesley Ann Warren movie.

I knew exactly what you drew when I saw that title. Truthfully, I never did see the original version.Although in second grade, a classmate brought in a videotaped performance of his sister and her school performing the play. I loved the Brandy one from 1997.
I especially love "The Stepsisters Lament"
