Something of a joke, really. Lots of homework + little or no sleep + midterms coming up = goodness knows what! I was about to merge these two images and add the background in PS CS2 when this idea came up instead.
In case it isn't clear even in full view, the tool being used is the 'magic wand'. And despite the description, nothing in this image was as easy as I initially thought it would be.
It'll go to scraps when I have time to finish the "real" image.
