I debated long and hard over whether or not to upload this.

The sequence was never intended to be animated... it wasn't even a consideration as I was working on it.

Those who know the saga of "Mark of the Fae" know how disenchanted I became with this project. I sank over 2 years into it, and during that time it all but paralyzed me creatively trying to make it work. In some cases, I'd done dozens of 'variations' of what I thought would be the key images. Some were fully realized as painted panels. You can find several pages of them elsewhere in my gallery.

For those who'd rather see the 'abridged' version all at once, I've collected all of the B&W base images into an "animated" presentation. They are arranged by scene--some with just one image, and that's why it seems a little disjointed, but they are otherwise in more or less the correct intended order. While assembling them in Photoshop, I bowed to temptation to add a few small elements while ignoring that nagging little Muse in my head that kept saying, "Well, you could always change this," or "With just a little more effort...".

There are days when I just want to hunt down that little bitch and throttle her.
