Really like these guys, the shiny shell is used for interspecies recognition aswell as to reflect the suns rays away from the animal, that combined with their countershading gives the Silver Bugpig a good coloration to survive in the desert

it is one of the largest species in the Authic desert, comparable to a warthog or small camel, with three large toes to be able to spread its weight on the sand and long legs to be able to travel long distances for food
they usually travel in pairs and sometimes even hunt moving plants when they cant find easier food to eat : p
