So my friend woomy had an idea of Birb snakes, and i loved it

So here they are xd

I really like these bois, they arent in the same family as the flighted Birbs, but they are more related then the other more mammalian relatives.

YellowPanda2001 suggested that instead of them having a long body, like regular snakes do, these could have a long neck and tail to still have the more compact body from their ancestral flying ancestors. And tbh i really like that arrangement :3

The long necks mean, larger throat pouches to store very large proboscis, here in this common species, the proboscis can extend to be like a third of the overall body length. They use these proboscis to strangle their prey and then swallow them whole, so thats neat!

but yeah i like this sneks, im planning on doing aquatic sneks in the future, so that will be fun owo
