Description
Runic is a rescourceful young scavenger born to a toll tribe in Outer Expanse. She loved her family, but never really worked well in groups, often feeling like everyone was in her way and perferring to do things herself. This combined with a terrible chieftain and she didnt really like living in the tribe.
She apprenticed to the tribe healer for a while, though she still trained with the warriors.
She eventually runs off and finds her true calling as a scout/guide for Linguist (i renamed Philosopher to Linguist) and his caravan, leading them through rainruined wastelands between iterators.
Just like all scavs, she loves pearls, and greatly enjoys it when Lin reads one for her, even if the info isnt all that useful.
She misses her family, but is glad she left her tribe.
Even though she is no longer with them, she still keeps the symbol on her mask fresh, since she was actually quite proud of her healer status and it bears meaning in her heart. Shed rather crush a pearl than let it fade.
