Currently lives: An old, ruined castle from a left-over war a few hundred years back. It’s about fifty miles away from the city and situated a few miles out from some neighbouring towns. It’s surrounded by a moat full of dangerous animals and there are some small-ish, barren mountains building a slow ascent behind it. It’s cold and lonely but he likes it there – it looks evil enough and it keeps away travelling salespeople.

Languages spoken: English, Dragonese, Gaelic, Old Ruenic, Contemporary Ruenic, Snob. (Taught Dragonese by his father, learned Ruenic through the study of tomes and ancient books.)

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

Height: 6’ 1” (not including horns)

Preferred style of clothing: He almost always wears his long, black, hooded cloak whish is made from some random magical material. It’s probably enchanted, since parts of it tend to wisp and vanish as he walks. He usually wears cord jumpers and loose trousers underneath it. He doesn’t like wearing fancy clothes.

Frequently worn jewellery/accessories: He has a pendant he hangs around his neck beneath his cloak. Along with his staff it was given to him by his father, but like the staff it did not originally bare the same symbol that it does now. Previously it bore a small cross shape in the middle of the silver circle, where now it is a symbol of the Eye of Providence. Neat.

PERSONALITY

Positive Personality Traits:
Despite being judgemental he’s not racist/ableist/etc, he’s incredibly stubborn/unlikely to give up, he has high self-confidence regarding things he’s good at, and he hates using his title (prince) to get what he wants – he prefers doing things his own way. He doesn’t like lying, he’s smart, and he’s got a strong work ethic.

Negative Personality Traits:
He’s a stubborn, bitter, spiteful, broody man whose only outlets in life include subjugating others to pain and emotional torment in order to cover up his own fragile insecurities. He’s smart, sulky, and despite keeping his thoughts to himself most of the time he’s also very much the sort to burst into loud rants about his successes when excited/aggravated. He’s completely tactless, he’s terrible at being genuine around people, he’s prone to making white lies, his bitterness is blatantly obvious so people generally don’t like him when they first meet him, he sulks when he loses, he still has the mentality of a broody teenager, he thinks the world is constantly out to get him, he sees no good in being ‘good’ and would take the evil route any-day, he blames the world for everything bad that’s ever happened to him, he unconditionally hates everybody who grew up with him, and he never even attempts to see the good in people.

Likes: Hexing people, making loud entrances, arguing, pointless arguing, being in control, reading, alchemy, gold, gems, dragons, turning people into frogs, fire, making his cloak go ‘SWOOSH’, beating his siblings, beating Hyde, and being a smart-ass.

Hobbies: Skulking around the local towns, declaring war on things, trying (and failing) to recruit minions, and occasionally kidnapping people to appear more dangerous. He also spends a lot of time reading books on necromancy and alchemy, and practicing said things in hopes of following his father’s footsteps. He also spends his time walking to towns and terrorising the neighbours, counting the number of bricks in his castle (just in case anyone’s stolen any) and finding other evil-doers to challenge.

Talents/Skills/Powers:
Alchemy: He’s a very skilled sorcerer and alchemist, but a below-average necromancer (despite the years he’s spent studying necromancy).
He cannot craft gold (as this is the highest skill an alchemist could perform – only sage alchemists can do this) but can craft many other magically valuable substances using alchemy. His main area of expertise is in potion-based alchemy.
Sorcery: Theador’s sorcery combines with his skill with a staff; he owns a weapon passed down to him from his father (and modified over time for his own use) that amplifies his sorcery and allows him to perform more dangerous, destructive spells and incantations. He’s very good at these (especially longer, runic incantations) but rarely uses them as he doesn’t like having what he would call a handicap in fights.

Occupation/Goals: He has no real occupation, but he has many goals: Amass an army of followers. Obtain at least one dragon. Master necromancy. Raise at least one person from the dead. Amass an army of undead. Take over a neighbouring Kingdom. Defeat his family’s kingdom in a war. Become ruler of the world.
He doesn’t have any short-term plans though – just long-term ones.

Brief Backstory:
- Son of Queen Dodie Ballentyne and King Walliam Reeves (deceased). Step-brother of Prince Hyde, Prince Calvin and Princess Camilla Ballentyne.
- He was very close with his father when he was younger – they were both dragon-artisans and so they bonded a lot. As Theador grew older his father became more dedicated to his services as King and spent less time with him.
- Theador was bullied by his elder siblings a lot as a child. They were big meanies.
- Theador’s father died when he was eight years old. Theador disconnected from his family at this point and started rebelling in that distant teenage way. He made a lot of mistakes in these years, including getting tattoos, kidnapping Hyde’s girlfriend and accidentally blowing up the cellar, etc…
- At age 20 Theador left Bra’Unk, vowing to become King someday. Or something, I forget.

OTHER:
- Some of his teeth are adult dragon teeth that are sharp, some of them have been blunted down.
- His skin freezes up in cold weather (as do the scales in the joints of him limbs), making it difficult for him to move. This is something to do with dragon hibernation, which he puts off by drinking home-made potions and filling his living quarters with burning cauldrons.
- As an artisan he has an unspoken duty to the gods and to nature; he only kills animals for food/leather and he’s very resourceful with what he earns.
- He collects the gold/jewels/possessions he acquires in a treasury. The treasury is a large room in his castle, hidden by protective jinxes. Sometimes he snacks on jewels from his treasury. He likes jewels. They’re crunchy.
- Sometimes he sings to himself. He’s a Disney villain, what can I say?
- There’s this random, annoying Prince that sometimes wanders into his castle and sleeps on his floor. Theador tries to get rid of him but he always returns. Apparently he likes the dragon? It’s weird. (Prince Marcus is TreakleFurs ’ character. Go see.)
