Incorrect, the law has nothing to do with fanmade artworks and fiction as they are protected under Faire Use clauses.
What it will actually have an effect on more than anything is Youtube videos that directly violate copyright laws that are already in place.
Please take the time to read this article as well as this video and please stop adding to the rumors and false information being spread by these petitions.
