= Full View =Hooray, it's done ^~^ . . . this is a commission pic for of her character Caprice Romana
- I had almost forgotten how terrible it is to ink chains . . . but this picture reminded me
But overall it was a fun pic, and character to draw. I really don't draw many females on a regular basis and I needed the practice. The pose was partially referenced, and partially made up XDD . . . but I think it turned out looking pretty good ^~^- - I had a lot of trouble with programs crashing on me while working on this pic for some reason too . . . so I am sorry that it took awhile to finish Gracifer : ( I started coloring in Painter, but it crashed . . . so I went to Photoshop, and it crashed too >___< So I finally ended up just coloring in in Open Canvas, which I am not too comfortable in, but once again, I needed to practice so it was a pretty good experience ^___^

I think that the coloring in this one is very nice, and semi-reflective of the pose she is in, and so its a nice action pose for her to be in it seems. I say 'it seems' because I'm not all to familiar with the character or *gracifer 's art, I should prolly check it out. I think the right hand looks a little wonky, but whatever, its a minor detail compared to the greatness of the rest. ^__^ I like this alot.

Its the whole "someone elses perspective" theory. You've been working on this, staring at it for long periods, and so see all the mistakes because you think of what it could be. People looking at your gallery have no idea what to expect, generally, unless its based on someone elses Chara or is fanart.

I think you coulda made the chains alot more dynamic with lightside/darkside shading on the turned links, they've got alot of twisty turning things going on but not at a glance~

Yeah, I thought I would try and use some exaggerated atmospheric perspective since I don't really use it very often.
- And you are probably right about the chains as well . . . but I hated those chains >__< . . . there were too many of them

I think it turned out really nice and the coloring seems really good to me.
For some reason the coloring seems to give it a different look to it. I quite enjoy it.
And, is this a different drawing? I seem to remember a different pose.

Eeeee! I didn't know it'd be posted today, so this was a wonderful surprise to pop up in my devwatch.
I just love it! The pose is really great, and the flow of her hair and outfit make it really dynamic! You drew her face just perfectly, she's so pretty and the expression fits her well. You did an amazing job with all the details on her outfit and the flail. Chains really do suck to draw and ink, sorry about that.
Oh, and the colors are beautiful! You did a wonderful job, especially on a program that you're not as comfortable with. I'm just totally pleased with how this came out. I knew you'd make her look awesome! Thank you very much for the commission, it was well worth the money.
