Twilight attacking like AJ, I do not think it is her style, should not she shot laser from her horn like she did on the wedding, after all kicking is AJ and Rarity style.

Well, Twilight not really use her magic to often even when it would solve problem more easy, for example, in episode where AJ was to suborn to ask for help, in the end Twilight used her magic to move so many apples in moment what would take AJ like hour to get, but in other episodes when she help AJ in farm, she not even use magic.
I think Twilight just not use magic to often to not make herself superior to others, so she try to not show up as often as she can.
