"John Corbin is a ex green beret doing community service as this story happens. Tired of ruthless wars only benefiting politics an the industrial military complex, John stepped back from military duties and questionable deeds of the past, and tried to involve himself in more productive and positive ways.

When zombie apocalypse stroke John was at home trying to figure out what was happening to his wife when she started to behave weird and aggressive. When she finally turned, she bit John. Using what he was trained to do years before, John killed his love quick and painlessly. When John realised what happened to him, and that soon he would repeat the same behaviour, he started to arrange things in order to protect his daughter, which wasn't present at that time.

He called his long time friend Thomas Reign which was currently taking care of Johns town turned into infected zone. He promptly offered himself to pick up John's daughter and to take him to a military facility and try to cure him. The army was fighting the virus and trying to figure out a way to solve this calamity.

When John entered the facility he was already showing signs of the infection, so he was immediately strapped to a stretcher. The military performed all kinds of experiments and drugs trying to neutralise the virus. As time went by the facility was surrounded by zombies and there was a breach which resulted in the death of the majority of the soldiers who were protecting the perimeter.

The last experiment performed on John included a device who would clean his blood preventing his body from turning up into a full fledge zombie. Lying in bed and too weak to battle the horde of zombies who entered the facility, John stayed put and to weak to stay awake he fainted. Last moment John remembers he was earring people screaming, being ripped to shreds, chaos and confusion..."
