Incredible detail! I usually find spiders quite cute but this one looks terrifying. Even though it's probably tiny, the angle you've shot it from makes me feel like it's bigger than me and coming to get me

Well, for the spiders you can find were i live (southern Germany) it's not that tiny... I'd guess it about 3-4cm for the body. (But there aren't many big spiders around here, anyway)

No, I am just a novice, and I am just high school student,17. There is only two 90mm macro lens I think. One Sony,released just few months ago. One Tamron, it is really a classical one. I do have a China-made 60mm macro lens. It is only $240 but it reaches F2.8 and 2:1macro. And it does better than 90 Tamron in sharpness I do think. I will update some photos taken by it if you are interested in it: )

I have arachnophobia, but I somehow find this photography interesting and fascinating anyway. The details are great...even though they make the spider appear even more creepy.Β

I to have a mild fear of spiders (if you can even call it like that) but watching spiders through a lens isn't frightening to me but makes my fear go away... The closer i observe them the less i fear them.Β
