You do know that Democrats and Republicans changed identities at the turn of the last century, don't you? Yes, it was founded by Democrats, but they changed their name to Republicans, same with the Republicans of the time (they're now called Democrats). The ideals haven't changed, just the names.

Most of what you said was opinion, not fact. Really, I don't see anything wrong with being pro-choice, using drugs in moderation, animal rights, or the rights for homosexuals. All that stuff seems pretty swell to me. I don't know what it is with Republicans but they tend to like the idea of restricting rights and/or giving them to certain people and not others. Either way, I've had many arguments like this with other people and they don't ever go anywhere. So, I'll just take responsibility and stop it right now.

If abortion was illegal, what would be the consequence? How can you be pro-life and still support wars? How does letting people with different sexual orientations than yourself be who they were born to be threaten your life in any way?

Riiight.Wars have been fought since the beginning of time.I don't agree with many of them,however they are started between adults who are capable of defending themselves.Unborn children are about as innocent as Humans get,and as defenseless as well,abortion is the cruelest form of "warfare" on mankind.You are against war because it takes Human life,but,you are Pro-choice,which takes truly innocent life.The fact that you can support the one and not the other is frightening.
The safety of Public Health should be everyone's concern.you probably aren't aware of the FACT that in the early 80's,(in the USA)Homosexuals with the AIDS Virus deliberately spread it to straight people in order to "bring attention" to their plight.Do you know what types of questions you're asked if you donate blood? Gay men find them"Discriminatory",and bitch frequently about it.They also lie about their behaviors in order to donate,it is rare,but HIV has been passed in transfusions from this.In several European Countries where Homosexual Marriage is legal,Beastiality(sex with ANIMALS)is legal as well.This opens up the possibility for ZOONOTIC INFECTIONS(diseases of animals) to enter the Human population.

No, I'm against war because it solves nothing. For thousands of years, all it has contributed to is the scary number of humans we are willing to kill for pointless reasons. Nothing is resolved. EVER.
You, however, saying that there's nothing wrong with having wars because the people being attacked deserve it and newborn life is innocent, believe in SELECTIVE KILLING. You'll kill some people, but not others. If you're as Pro-life as you claim you are, you wouldn't support killing of ANY kind. But you don't. And that is truly hypocritical and frightening.
Yes, I do know about the relation to Homosexuals and AIDS, but I was originally referring to the idea of them receiving the same civil rights as heterosexual couples. There are horrible diseases in this world, all caused equally through homo and heterosexual actions. I do not blame one side for everything and glorify the other. Are you literally claiming that the homosexuals brought AIDS to the world just so they could get "attention"? That sounds ridiculous! A conspiracy that serious could not exist. It was started because one man said, "let's have sex with that AIDS ridden monkey". Of course, that is a very watered down version of the story, but it makes more sense than your implication.
I really don't understand WHY you think Liberals are irrational. We believe in rights for all and do not tolerate stripping the rights of others based on gender, race, color, or sexual orientation. Republicans/Conservatives, however, have made themselves famous in the trial to take away rights and give them to who they considered "deserving". They are blinded by religion and all the nonsense that comes with it. It was because of them that there the US was the last civilized super power to still have slaves, the Civil war, the reason the civil rights movement took ages to ratify, the reason women's rights (to vote, be considered citizens, and even birth control) took so long. Now, they find a new thing to hate in the homosexuals. This is all caused by the conservative's inability to detach themselves from their religious background. Religion is the root of all evil, you know.

No, because all wars have a religious meaning to them, no matter how you look at it. So in my eyes, I see it pointless to partake in them. War is never justified.
Actually, the phrase "drinking the Kool-aid" is in reference to a religious gathering that all knowingly drank poison spiked kool-aid to show their devotion to god. Me, I am not religious in any way so that phrase isn't being used in the right context.
Obama is not the chosen. I have actually become unimpressed with his presidency so far. My expectations for president will always be Franklin D. Roosevelt status. He is unobtainable in my opinion.
