*EDIT* I went ahead and fixed those rock formations I mentioned below that I messed up on, as well as just a few minor tweaks here and there. It looks better to me now.

I'm also reconsidering completing the rest of the backgrounds I had in mind for "Sonic's Vocal Life," just a thought. lol

One of the little backrounds I was gonna do for Sonic's Vocal Life, seen here: [link] This one was gonna be for Classic Sonic.

I used the Smash Bros. Brawl stage of the same name for the inspiration and composition on this, so forgive me if it looks like it. I have a tough time as it is with backgrounds, but I like how this came out. It's hard to shade so many colors on the same objects, so I decided that the burn tool was the way to go, using the dodge for highlights. I normally don't use these two tools because I think they're make for rather cheap quality if used incorrectly, so I just go with color theory and use the picker. Though I'm not terribly great with that either mind you.

In any case, I rather liked the way this came out, save for the stone structures on the left side of the BG, they're a little misplaced, but all-in-all a good attempt at recreating a background.

People can use this as a base background for a piece of theirs, if they so wish to, just give me a heads-up before hand and be sure to credit me when you do so. ^^
