Description
Assignment for my Drawing I class.I couldn't really get the contrast right on from the printer and the shading on the fingers are just fail. Plus there's so many white spots! -.-
I like the palm and wrist though.
Criticism is always welcomed.

Hands are very challenging in general so don't feel bad if you made mistakes. Every artist regardless of their level of art makes mistakes over and over again until they practice enough that their mistake is corrected and mastered. From what I see so far, you did a great job articulating each part of the palm with the proper shading and textures. The folds and creases in the hand stand out and create a very realistic approach with the watch being held. The shadow and contrast of light and dark is overall fantastic to say the least. Do not beat yourself up over this piece! You did a wonderful job and should be proud of your work Not very many people can pull off drawing hands in the style that you used.

I do understand that hands are one of the more intimidating body parts to draw for most people and I know I should feel good about how I did. It's just that strive to be better that's sort of shadowing it all haha. But thank you so much, I appreciate your comment.

From someone who practiced drawing hands for years (and failed), you did good. Really really good. The nails and wrist are especially well done.
