aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh I.... so have to head to bed hahah, it's 06 in the morning right now, been up all night -yawn-it was just going too well while I was drawing this, I really liked the result on this and hope to god! I didn't miss anything on him!

This is like literally the first thing I saw when I woke up this morning. I'm pretty sure I spent a good five minutes just staring at it.
OK, as what I enjoy about it. The poses for both of them are great. I honestly love it when people don't draw Kage with his jacket/tail coat because it gives the whole piece a sense of relaxation like he's just taking a break from it all and the pose really drives this home. As well as his expression he just looks content and amused by what Ray is doing and I love it.
Ray on the other hand is completely adorable. Personality wise I would say you hit the nail on the head he does a lot for Kage's sanity and him being funny/cute is probably the most wholesome thing ever.

I'm so happy you were able to see the relaxion in this picture. I was really going for more of a calmer time for them both
At first I thought I should add his jacket but it would just cover his body up too much and without the jacket he does look a lot more lean back!
I don't know what the guy is going through but a nice calm picture really fit him

I don't often draw Kage relaxing myself not sure why, but the boy has been threw a hell storm more than a few times. But he is always super cute when he is shown relaxing. I think taking the cute direction with Ray was a great call.
