Description
This cat would not stop following me. Only for a mere two seconds it stopped, intrigued by it's own shadow.edit: just a little editing.

I like the fact that you are really playing with light and shadow here but I think its the perspective that I would like to see changed. This was shot while you were standing up but I think this piece would have been alot more effective if you were crouched down to get more of the point of view of the cat.

I've thought the same thing before, I wanted to get the focus on the shadow. I would've shot this differently now, this was done about four months ago when I had just picked up a camera however..

Wonderful photo, you have catched a perfect moment I love it how the cat stares at its shadow and almost seems frightened of it.
Can't believe it's a film photo... great quality and contrast!

thank you very much, that cat was following me everywhere and I just wanted to take a nice shot of it, and then it looked over it's shoulder and stopped for just a second but I got the shot.

You were lucky I hate photographing cats because I'm always too slow.

yeah they are tricky, they are terrible models most of the time, but in a way it makes you a better photographer.

Thanks I've been shooting pretty much only black and white film, but when I developed this in the dark room I did a little happy dance, I totally aced the contrast
