Alright, so I'm doing some of my more minor ocs, that don't need a full ref cause I don't draw them as often, but still need some basis for me.

Uh, here we go.

This is the final group of human ocs I have, and at the same time, the first. Because I created these little dorks with my friends when we were 11-12.

They're kind of simple and stuff, but like, they have sentimental value to me.

So here's my first group of ocs I ever made, and the last one I'll make ref sheets for for a while. (:

In this world there's these creatures called "Abnormals" which is basically a slang word for elemental in this land. Uh, there's a long history, and basically long story short, these guys (with the exception of Bela) live in Gideon/Vigenere's world, but 2000 years in the future. Yes, I said future, but it's Steampunk themed. Long story short, bad stuff happened, and humanity regressed for a while. So it's like a sci-fi steam punk, but everything still sucks. The dominant race is human, and they discriminate against those with powers. Which all these kids are. All of them were orphaned, and kind of bonded together. Since Dana and David were the only ones to remember their last name, they all used that name and called themselves a family. SO each kid has an element assigned to them.

Dana - She's my character in this, since each one was based on a friend, uh, she's 17 and basically the mom of the group, since she's the oldest, and kindest of the group. She's also hotheaded though. Uh, she's twins with David. Elemental split between twins of parents with different elements is very common. Like if dad is fire in this case, and mom is metal, then their twins are very likely to be split one fire, one metal, which is what happened here. If they weren't twins, it would've just been whichever trait is the dominate one. Dana got the nickname Peril from their best friend Shane. Basically in the story they go on this adventure to try and take down the really really racist government, and like, try and fix the world. They do succeed, because 14 year old me needed them to when writing it, and no matter how unrealistic it is, I want the story to end nicely, so I'm keeping it. Also, Dana is only 5'6

David - Dana's twin brother, he's not based off a friend, he's my creation. He's also 17. He's very hotheaded and brash. Kind of the dad of the group by default, but like, he's just the older brother fundamentally. He's very rash and impulsive. But his siblings love him. He's 6ft tall, and very strong. He wears glasses, but they're optional. And if you want when drawing, you can draw him wearing the goggles instead. He's basically the secondary main character of the story. Also, he's always dirty. He just is, don't question it man. Under his hat, his hair sticks up. Like, have you ever seen Meet the Robinsons, his hair is like Lewis's. Uh, idk, David loosely has the nickname "Gear" once again given by their friend Shane. His element he has control over is metal.

Emily - She's one of my friend's characters, and she's the second oldest in the makeshift family. She's 16. She has control over water. She's pretty blunt, and doesn't really have a filter. She also won't shut up if you get her to talk, not like, in a good way, in an oh my gosh shut up already way. She's the eldest sibling of the group pretty much, which means she makes and suggests all the terrible terrible ideas that come to mind, and then does them. Ironically, she's more me than Dana and Dana's supposed to be my character. She's 5'9 btw.

Eliza - She's my cousin's character, and she's the baby of the family at only 14. She's the badass though, though people don't suspect it cause she's so small. Her wings aren't actually shown when she's wearing this cloak, cause she has to hide them otherwise you know, she'll be like, executed for being magic. She also enjoys cross dressing, she's completely comfortable with being female, she just really enjoys looking like a man some days. So a lot of the time she actually has her hair pinned up in her hat. I just have it down for the sake of the ref. She controls air as her element, and while she comes off as calm and nice, she's very feisty at heart and will rip you to shreds. She's only 5'2, making her the shortest of the siblings. She often wears heels, not because she likes them, just because they help her look taller and pass as a boy easier. She also wears a binder sometimes when she dresses like a boy.

Copper - No one knows her real name, cause she forgot it when she was sent to the orphanage, so everyone just nicknamed her copper cause of her hair and eye color. Copper goes by they/she, and is the little inventor of the family. She's also able to control metal, and also fairly strong. She also has this weird obsession with time and watches, so her pockets are filled with spare and broken pocket watches she's found. I think she's really cute. I actually had never drawn her in the new updated steampunk look I gave everyone, so tis was fun. I gave her the turquoise color cause turquoise is made from copper I think, and I thought it'd be cute. I also made her up for the story as well. She's 15, and pretty happy all the time. She's also the only character who did not gain her nickname from Shane. She's 5'8.

Alaina - She's my friend's character too, and she's also 15. She's able to control earth. Alaina actually gets separated from the rest of the family in the story, at a fairly early age, so even though I put her with their shared last name (which yes does intentionally have the world "arson" in it, since their dad was fire I thought that'd be funny) she doesn't use that last name for the majority of the story. She's with the elemental rebels who are fighting against the oppressive government. She's 5'9 as well. Uh, she's very tough, not a lot of humor in her, nor a lot of friendliness. She comes off as really cold and distant.

Havoc - Havoc is not one of their siblings. He's actually royalty (but that's complicated, so I'm not gonna explain it). In this world, there are the five basic elements, water, fire, earth, air, and metal, but there's also a few more volatile ones that are rarer, and also more dangerous. These include chaos, time, magic, and blood. Havoc is able to control chaos. (hence his name lol. 12 year old me wasn't super good at naming things) He's a villain in the story, though one doesn't fully realize that until near the end when he betrays the kids, and even then, the audience knows what he's done, but the kids don't, so they keep trusting him. Havoc claims that he's 18, but he's really 20. He's a sociopath, and so manages to come off as very charismatic, and lovely, when in reality he's thinking of 10 different ways to dismember you at any given moment. He wants to overthrow the government so that he can rule the country, and he does in the end.

Now, you might've noticed that I mentioned "Shane' several times throughout this. But there's no Shane on the ref. That's because he already has his own big ref. And this version of Shane appeared on the Alt. 1 outfit of Shane Wilkes' (space ace squad) ref sheet. Because they are in fact one and the same. Long story short, Shane lives in this world until he's 20. (the story takes place over 3 years), and then an accident occurs and he's transported to another dimension. He can't find a way back, so he makes a new life there, and that's when he becomes the Space Ace Squad version of himself. In this story, he tags along with the gang and is their friend, and has a crush on Dana. He's 17 at the start of the story. (He also has a little crush on David as well, but not as big)

Bela - Bela's the only one not from the Abnormal story. Instead she's in the story about Gideon's kids. She's friends with Ellie. She's basically a "beta elemental" in this world. Because she's the product of a human and a monster having a child, or being forced to have a child. She's unstable and quite literally might explode at any moment. She's very hot headed, but grew up in a controlled facility, so doesn't realize her behavior is unacceptable. She learns patience through her time with Ellie, and all them. Bela can control fire, and her name actually translates to Beautiful Fires, though I forget in which language, I just used google translate for it. She unfortunately doesn't get a happy ending, and dies, but her story kind of sets up the world of Dana and all theirs.
