I'm redoing my refs because I got sick of the old ones. Chibi refs will stay, unless like Rana I've made her a much more major character, in which case she's getting her own.

Enith is part of the genetically engineered race, the Alimyets. The Alimyets are physically non-binary and reproduce through cloning/artifical means. They do however have certain characteristics that put them as "male" or "female" in the society. The higher possisions in society are typically taken by the "women" since the Alimyets were historically a matriarchy. Such as, the light hands, vs dark hands. Enith was assigned to be a women, but felt throughout life that that label didn't fit him. His job in the society was as a bounty hunter, and he was tasked with hunting Naya since she'd gotten too close to the Alimyet's territories. However, since the Alimyets were not accepting Enith's transition, and Naya did, he ended up defecting and joining her, since he felt safe and loved for the first time. Naya helped Enith tattoo his hands the darker shade typically considered a "male" characteristic of their species. Enith became the second member of the Space Ace Squad and later fell in love with Shane with he joined.
