I'm redoing my refs because I got sick of the old ones. Chibi refs will stay, unless like Rana I've made her a much more major character, in which case she's getting her own.

So, Silva is an alien who was taken from her parents, or maybe they gave her up/sold her to the "church" of Iluz. In reality Iluzism is a cult and will be based largely off of scientology. (which is terrifying to me) Silva was raised in the cult, but because they didn't know or care how to properly take care of her, Silva ended up stunted in growth in a lot of areas. For instance, her wings are small and don't work, when the normal adult of her species has huge wings that can in fact help them fly. She was also meant to have some level of telepathy, but never developed it because of her mistreatment. Silva was told by the cult growing up that she was one of the eight maidens that Iluz needed as his brides and that one day in a final ritual she would be sacrificed in honor to join her "godly" husband. Silva was assigned a handler to make sure that she obeyed and the handler was quite abusive, mentally, phsycally, and though Silva didn't know it, took advantage of her sexually. Silva eventually convinced her handler and the higher ups (though she's fairly high up in the cult herself, as she has the place of honor) to let her go on missions. The cult believes, rightfully so in this case, that Alimyets are evil. Which they are, think of them as the aftermath of space nazis. So Silva, not knowing that Enith and Naya left their culture and wanted to be better people, attacks them. The Space Ace Squad overpowers the fragile alien with little fighting skills and holds her hostage. Amy recognizes the cult's emblem on Silva's arm and mentions it to the group, and then end up realizing that Silva isn't their enemy, she was brainwashed to believe that she was meant to die, and that these abuses she's suffered are normal. They end up helping her, and Silva escapes the cult. She ends up settling on a small planet where she just lives and is a small farmer. Then later in the story, the rest of the Space Ace Squad goes to Naya and Enith's planet and tries to take down their government, and almost succeed but Naya dies in the process. The Squad returns to the planet where they left Silva since they know it's safe, to hide and mourn while the Alimyet's fractured government looks for them. Silva ends up taking Naya's place in the squad, and discovers that her life can be spent helping people out of bad situations.
