Wondering
Why?

Not quite a lie.
Not yet.
Could I allow you
To embrace me
And not need to worry
About you letting go?
Could I look
Into you
And know
You're there for a reason?
Could I ask
Endless questions
Until
We fall asleep in each other's arms?
Or would I
Wake up
To find
That you've left?
Could we visualize
The grand beauty
That is us.
Without it
Becoming tarnished
Due to lack of spontaneity?
Would I be able
To find
Every fiber of my being
Vibrating in unison from your caress?
Would I be able
To feel my body
Shudder painlessly
Due to the kiss you think you owe me?
Could our needs
And our desires
Truly work as one?
Or would the questions
And uncertainty
Claim us?

It is very true, what this poem is about.
There always tends to be a time of uncertainty in a relationship that is either overcome or the relationship dies.

It's pretty general, too.
There's always uncertainty period.
I kind've wanted to revolve the poem around that, but I figured that.. people would relate more to it If I made it about a relationship.
