Description
Current ref can be found here: corruptpudding.deviantart.com/…Yes. That squiggly green thing in the corner is a very crude picture of a doodle kitty about her size. It was born through MS Paint and a mousepad ._.
Sorry about the weird 'bold’ thing going on, my bold has a glitch or something and I can't fix it
Name: Scatterpaw
Age: 10 moons
Gender: Female
Breed: Moggie
Clan: Shadowclan
Rank: Apprentice
Mentor: Pitchfur (belongs to Lithestep)
Talents Her speed and endurance are a bit above average, but her strength and attack are bit below. She is especially bad at tact and tends to just jump into the fighting part without any consideration toward planning and strategies.
Appearance Broken tabby. Average height. Her build is a little slimmer than normal, making her a better runner. It’s not so slim however that it should make her weaker and a bad fighter. It’s just that she isn’t very talented in such areas. Scatterpaw’s tabby patches are a medium-dark brown with darker brown stripes. She is mostly white, with two patches on her tail, one on a back leg, one on a front leg, one patch shaped kind of like a saddle blanket on her back, and her face ‘mask’ thing going on there. Her nose is a light pink and her eyes are an intense, bright green.
On her ref sheet there, she’s grinning all like little miss innocent “Who me?” Probably after some or other prank she pulled. In her head shot something has got her attention XD it’s probably shiny.
Other Scatterpaw is named for her 'scattered' patches of dark tabby fur. Her pelt is very smooth and has a nice glossy sheen.
Personality
Headstrong/Determined, impulsive/reckless, friendly/sociable, Loyal
Generally, Scatterpaw has good head on her shoulders, but she is still quite young. Occasional bouts of silly or naive behavior can be expected from her. Also keep in mind she is from Shadowclan. As typically approachable and cheerful she is, she can have a bit of a darker side. It doesn’t show often at all, usually only during periods of extreme fatigue or emotional state, but it still resides. Like that time she bit off a dog’s head… XD
Headstrong/Determined - Scatterpaw likes to do things her way. She doesn’t necessarily break rules just because she wants to be rebellious, but if she thinks she knows a better way of doing something, she will most definitely scatter those rules to the wind. Scatterpaw’s headstrong streak can complicate things with a mentor or fellow apprentice when she insists on doing things her own way rather than take their advice. She would much rather figure something out for herself than be instructed slowly and thoroughly. (Like the kind of person who hates reading instructions and just tries to figure it out themselves, with a mixture of failures and successes XD) When she sets her mind to something, Scatterpaw will give her everything to reach her goal.
Impulsive/Reckless- Scatterpaw has very little caution if any, often jumping head first into a problem without any consideration of later consequences to her rash impulses. She often attempts to take on tasks impossibly large for her or commit to a promise to please a friend, even though it may wind her up in a rather sticky situation later on down the road.
Friendly/Sociable- Scatterpaw is extremely friendly, no matter your past, appearance, or status. Rather than freak out when a cat from an opposing clan mistakenly steps across than border, she would much rather openly greet the fellow and start up a sociable exchange. Always eager to meet new cats, she can be just a bit naïve and ‘befriend’ a cat who may hold ill intentions to her or her clan.
Loyal- Scatterpaw possesses an undying sense of loyalty to those she is fond of or respects and to her clan. This trait of loyalty can be rather conflicting at times. If she finds a friendship between an outsider of Shadowclan and her duty to her clan are challenged in some way, it can nearly bring her to tears. Having to break ties to a one loyalty to retain another is among the hardest undertakings to challenge her.
Brief Backstory
Having been born into the clan and being only an apprentice, I have a more ‘recent’ history-
Scatterpaw was just being harmlessly stubborn as usual. She hadn’t known what would happen that day. How could she? Having snuck away from camp and her mentor, the little mousebrain went hunting on her own, without all those boring instructions and other loud, boisterous apprentices. Just her and her prey. Carelessly, she did not watch where she was going as she eagerly pursued a speedy squirrel. She was almost upon it when--- HONK! HONK!
Her carelessness had cost her. Having run onto the black path and been attacked by a monster, she tumbled heavily down from the black path into the scraggly underbrush of the ditch where she lay unconscious. When she finally awoke she found that, miraculously, she suffered no obvious injuries but a few scratches and a minor limp in a back paw, but even she could tell it was only a little sprain. There was, however, a terrible pain erupting violently from her inside. A wave of immense fear only made it worsen as she lay in a painful heap, her thoughts coming rapidly. Cats had been attacked by monsters and lived before, but they all were forced to retire from being a warrior or warrior apprentice, they either went to the elders den or became medicine cats. More than anything Scatterpaw yearned to be a warrior, the thought of taking up any other position… She couldn’t let her clan know! They might not let her become a warrior! And with her ceremony so close!
Friendly creature she was, Scatterpaw had many friends, including a medicine cat apprentice from another clan. Carefully, agonizingly, she made her way to her friend’s clan, finding the medicine cat apprentice outside of camp gathering herbs. Her friend was more than willing to help her, but it took a bit of convincing to make sure the incident was kept a secret. Unfortunately the young apprentice’s knowledge was limited, and all the young cat could offer was a kind of herb to ease the pain when it was at its worse.
She lives with an almost constant pain inside of her, and indeed takes the herbs when the pain grows to its most unbearable peeks. She does everything in her power to keep her pain unnoticed by the clan, having convinced herself that whatever is causing her such agony will surely heal soon and cease its torment. It has indeed mellowed into a low, consistent throbbing, but works itself back up again occasionally. Rougher training sessions also take their toll.
(It hasn’t been very long since the accident, maybe a week or two at most.)
Comment if interested in being her medicine cat apprentice friend. This is also the only cat who knows of her accident and he/she must be from a clan other than her own.

Shadowclan:
As frustrating as the excitable, energetic young she-cat can be with her short attention span and fiery independence, Pitchfur handles her quite well. Staying patient and calm throughout their lessons. Scatterpaw respects her mentor for his hard work.
After hearing the queen's story on how she lost the best of her sight, Scatterpaw respects her for what she had to go through and very much enjoyed the time they spent together.
pretty much sums it up XD
Jaywatcher: "I hope to get to know her better!"
After fighting a dog together, Scatterpaw hopes to get to know the nice She-cat better and become friends.
Scatterpaw has thus far had quiet the adventure with this grey tabby. Trekking through Shadowclan territory, they have stumbled upon beavers, investigated oddly shaped trees, and outrun flocks of bats.
Fogstar: //pending//
Thunderclan:
Windclan:
After playing a seemingly harmless prank on the rather sensitive she-cat, Apricotwing felt little humor. Scatterpaw continued to try and tease a smile out of the calico she-cat, but only managed to embarrass her further.
Riverclan:
To the old warrior's complete dismay, the young she-cat is convinced Toadthroat is lonely and insists on following him around and keeping him company. So far she is trying out every game she knows on the red warrior to see which he likes best. She also is fascinated by his scent...it seems so familiar...yet she doesn't know from where.
Meeting along the Riverclan boarder, the to became friendly almost instantly. Promising to meet later when they weren't busy, the two have been having quite the adventure. After finally catching the enormous rabbit and playing in the field of butterflies, they discovered an immense wounded hound in the forest. Currently they are taking care of it and it has eaten the rabbit they worked so hard to catch.

Loner/Rogue:
After only a day of play together, Scatterpaw considers him her best friend. Used to the melancholy, emotionless cats of Shadowclan, he was a great change. The young tom even gave her a gift! A little two leg bell he found in a tree house they discovered together. Later in the day, he led to his abandon twoleg nest. There is where it dawned upon the young she-cat, she might be able to find a cure there! Twolegs owned monsters and Sammy said they could get hurt by them, so surely they had cures. Now if only she could find it...
Scatterpaw is convinced he saved her life, and much to the rogue's initial dismay, she refused to stop following him about like a little duckling and insisting he teach her everything he knows. Eventually he warmed up to her, and after hearing his backstory, Scatterpaw invited him to join her family and become her elder brother. He agreed. Now she just has to find a way to tell her family... XD

Roleplay Sample:
Anura dismally paced the dark, stuffy library of her father’s villa. Her eyes caught a snatch of gleaming red; something was reflecting a weak ray of the watery sunlight managing to trickle from the crack between the heavy, drawn curtains. Turning her head to examine the cause of this obnoxious show of bright laughter in such a stark room and dreary period; she found herself studying a large, overstuffed chair and next to it a small, modest side table. A thick, perky red volume sat upon the table, one of it bright crimson corners having deflected the light. Another wave of anxiousness took hold of Anura’s heart, pinching tight her waning hope. A cheerful scene took shape before her. Upon the chair, a jovial ginger cat sat comfortably, his young daughter, quite unlike him in appearance, sitting upon his lap. Together, they flipped the pages of the cerise storybook, laughing and having quite a good time together. Suddenly, the image disappeared, and the room was stilled once more. Suddenly, the library’s entrance creaked open.
