If the opportunity presents itself, she drops everything to go have a bit of excitement. She’s ok exploring and playing on her own, but always prefers company over solitude. Always.

“Well, at least you still half one half of your tail.” Optimistic {Cheery} {Happy-Go-Lucky} {Positive} {Bright} {Enthusiastic}: Always the optimist, Scatterpaw always seems to be able to find something positive to say, whether it really tends to comfort her audience or not. Oftentimes she can be a little to optimistic, tending to annoy the cats around her as she seems unable to stop listing off all the other bad things that could have happened rather than acknowledge what actually did happen.

“Hehehe…I’ll just put this dead snake here and see what happens…” Prankster {Jester} {Joker} : Scatterpaw makes it a habit of hers to pull harmless practical jokes…on everyone. On occasion however, she may take it too far, and be unaware of the feelings she hurts. She can never seem to pass up a joke either, even if it’s during a rather solemn time.

"So you mean, if I cover my fur with this weird smelling plant, the bees won’t sting me?" Gullible {Naïve} {Innocent} {Trusting} : Excessively gullible, Scatterpaw will do just about anything if it sounds at least half convincing. Often times this can get her into trouble if she is persuaded to do something overly troublesome and cause disarray for other cats and/or herself. Like angering a swarm of bees.

“Haha! That’s so funny! Your whiskers were singed off!” Goofy {Silly} {Optimistic} {Happy} : Scatterpaw can’t seem to take on a solemn tone, even when she should. She feels the need to crack a joke or say something silly in every situation, with no heed to its significance. If she thinks someone is keeping a secret, she makes it her business to know what it is! Often times she ends up in fairly sticky situations when she digs too deep into complicated circumstances. Matchmaking and other such meddlesome activities aren’t uncommon for the nosey little she-cat. If she is given even the subtlest reasons to thinks two cats have feelings for each other, she’ll do whatever it takes to pair them together. Even though she still fails to understand the whole ‘birds and bees’ concept.

“I’m not distractible! I’m just…Oh look a butterfly!” Oblivious {Spacey} {Ditzy} {Distracted} {Dreamy} {Inattentive} Scatter is very spacey. She’s always getting distracted and wandering off, forgetting her responsibilities, or even just spacing out. Scatter has a tendency to stare of into space and forget the world around her while watching the clouds and other such things.

“Cool! That puddle is shaped like an acorn!” Imaginative Scatter has a talent for noticing how that leaf looks kind of like a butterfly, or the way that funny cloud appears to be a rabbit. This quirk tends to be quite a distraction for the little she-cat.

"Wow! You look awful!” Impulsive {Spontaneous} {Rash} {Big-Mouth} {Reckless} {Careless} Scatter tends to do and say the first thing that comes to mind without using rational thought. A friend is in danger? She’ll be there by their side trying to help, not thinking of how foolish her actions may have been to jump headfirst into the problem as well. Some cat wakes up in the morning with a messy pelt? She’ll be sure to tell them gracelessly.

"No worries! Everything will be ok! Just go with the flow!" Carefree {Cheery} {Untroubled} Scatter is rarely troubled by the problems around her. She just continues to live her carefree life in blissful oblivion whilst chaos reigns down around her.

"I’ll be right there beside you!" Loyal {Trustworthy} {Devoted} {Reliable} {Faithful} {Dedicated} {Dependable} Scatter remains loyal devoted to her friend and family, and whomever else she feels dedicated to. Trustworthy and reliable, you can be sure to count on her whenever the need arises.

“Oh! Oh! Let me help! I can do!” Enthusiastic {Eager} {Excitable} {Energetic} Scatter is enthusiastic in almost everything she does, putting forth much energy and heart.

“And that is the entire story of why I don’t lick purple acorns.” Chatterbox {Talkative} {Bigmouth} Without putting much thought into what she says, Scatterpaw could keep up a one cat conversation with herself for hours on end. Often times she blurts out what she thinks, whether it was the kindest remark or not. But at least she’s honest.

Brief Backstory:
Scatterkit was born the only girl into a litter of three. Surprisingly, Loonkit, who was a rather temperamental little tom, was the sibling she grew closest to. Like all relations, their friendship wasn’t always perfect, especially when Scatter’s hyperactive antics got on her bi-colored brothers nerves, but they were close nonetheless. Quiet little Craykit had always remained a bit distant from the two.
Scatter finds herself to be a little lonesome sometimes, being as playful and kit-like as she is. Both of her brothers, as well as Shadowclan itself, is filled with a much more solemn and sophisticated air. Most of the time she finds her best friends and playmates to come from outside of her clan, making things a bit complicated, though she never seems to mind.

He always seemed a bit distant though...and kind of scary, but he never appeared annoyed by her rather eccentric antics. (he was good at hiding it X'D) She mourned at his passing along with the majority of the clan, believing him to be great leader, however much she didn't know him.

lll lll lll lll Loonpaw: Loonpaw and Scatterpaw are very close siblings. Scatterpaw trusts and admires her {older} brother with all her heart, confiding to him all of her secrets and thoughts.

lll lll lll Craypaw: Scatterpaw loves her brother Craypaw, but he has always been more...distant.

lll lll lll lll "He's my favorite cousin! He's a bit grumpy, but I always find a way to have fun with him! He lets me tag along on his search for herbs and teaches all kinds of cool healing stuff!" Batshade: As the medicine cat, Scatterpaw respects and admires him. As her cousin, she is friends and loves him as the rest of her family. Often following him about on his days of herb gathering, she does what she can to help him out when she isn't busy with her warrior apprentice duties.

lll Phantomscream: Scatterpaw has thus far had quiet the adventure with this grey tabby. Trekking through Shadowclan territory, they have stumbled upon beavers, investigated oddly shaped trees, and outrun flocks of bats.

lll lll lll Jaywatcher: Scatterpaw doesn't know her very well, after all, the only time they ever really interacted was when they had to fight the dog that invaded camp, but she hopes to get to know the nice she-cat better. She admires her for her bravery and skill in the battle.

lll lll Mistsplash: Scatterpaw is convinced that the only reason Mistsplash is a bit grumpy is because of her lack of friends. She plans on making it her business to befriend the warrior, whether she wants to be friends or not.

lll lll Icerift: After returning from her long disappearance, Scatterpaw, curious as she is, went to speak with her and discover where it was she had gone off to. Scatterpaw believes the she-cat to be very nice despite her dark background and is grateful fro the advice Icerift gave her.

lll lll Foxtrot: "She is so patient and nice! I hope I can be a warrior like her one day!" The two Shadowclan she-cats spent the day together on a (somewhat) peaceful walk. Foxtrot saved Scatterpaw from falling from a tree on her failed attempt at climbing and they watched the pretty falling leaves on the way back to camp.

lll Sparrowpaw: "Oh...err...I don't know much about him actually. I just hope he doesn't tell anyone I was in Thunderclan territory...Or worse yet, find out why!"
One failed attempt after another and Scatterpaw finally managed to help the Thunderclan apprentice out from the ditch he had become trapped in. She was surprised by his reaction, however, as he did not seem grateful for her heroic actions. Rather, he was more concerned of her being a Shadowclanner than her good deeds. Not wanting him to find out the reason for her trespassing, the she-cat quickly fled the scene, back to the safety of her own land.

Riverclan

lll lll lll / lll Toadthroat: To the old warrior's complete dismay, the young she-cat is convinced Toadthroat is lonely and insists on following him around and keeping him company. So far she is trying out every game she knows on the red warrior to see which he likes best. She is also fascinated by his scent...it seems so familiar...yet she doesn't know from where. At one point, the large feline snapped, irritated by Scatterpaw's perky pestering, and hit her. She recovered soon after, but a faint, lingering fear still clings to her heart.

Morningsong: Meeting along the Riverclan boarder, the to became friendly almost instantly. Promising to meet later when they weren't busy, the two have been having quite the adventure. After finally catching the enormous rabbit and playing in the field of butterflies, they discovered an immense wounded hound in the forest. Currently they are taking care of it and it has eaten the rabbit they worked so hard to catch.

Skyclan

lll lll lll lll Jetpaw: Scatterpaw's first crush. She has fallen head over paws for the self-absorbed Skyclan apprentice, believing him to be absolutely amazing. And much to the young tom's horror, she has begun to stalk him. >:3

lll lll lll lll Gorsepaw: Scatterpaw met with the tom briefly, and even attempted to drag him along on one of her little adventures. Scatterpaw was curious as to what the mysterious tom was doing on her territory, but never found out. She never really knew him well, but was saddened by his death nonetheless.

Windclan

lll Ashenflight: After playing a seemingly harmless prank on the rather sensitive she-cat, Ashenflight felt little humor. Scatterpaw continued to try and tease a smile out of the calico she-cat, but only managed to embarrass her further.

Loner/Rogue

lll lll {} Sammy: After only a day of play together, Scatterpaw considers him her best friend. Used to the melancholy, emotionless cats of Shadowclan, he was a great change. The young tom even gave her a gift! A little kittypet collar bell he found in a tree house they discovered. Though not actually related, Scatterpaw thinks of the younger cat like a little brother. She worries for Sammy's safety, what with being all alone in the wild, and has taken it upon herself to try and teach him basic battle and hunting skills, though she maybe coming on as a bit harsh in her frantic worry to keep him safe.

lll lll lll lll {} lll Damain: Scatterpaw is convinced he saved her life, and much to the rogue's initial dismay, she refused to stop following him about like a little duckling and insisting he teach her everything he knows. Eventually he warmed up to her, and after hearing his backstory, Scatterpaw invited him to join her family and become her elder brother. He agreed. Now she just has to find a way to tell her family...

:bulletred: Scatterpaw felt slightly betrayed. After introducing Damian to her brother Loonpaw, he later denied the position of being her 'older brother'. She doesn't feel entirely broken however, as he pledged to remain her friend and a guardian like figure to her and her family.

Roleplay Sample:

Anura dismally paced the dark, stuffy library of her father’s villa. Her eyes caught a snatch of gleaming red; something was reflecting a weak ray of the watery sunlight managing to trickle from the crack between the heavy, drawn curtains. Turning her head to examine the cause of this obnoxious show of bright laughter in such a stark room and dreary period; she found herself studying a large, overstuffed chair and next to it a small, modest side table. A thick, perky red volume sat upon the table, one of it bright crimson corners having deflected the light. Another wave of anxiousness took hold of Anura’s heart, pinching tight her waning hope. A cheerful scene took shape before her. Upon the chair, a jovial ginger cat sat comfortably, his young daughter, quite unlike him in appearance, sitting upon his lap. Together, they flipped the pages of the cerise storybook, laughing and having quite a good time together. Suddenly, the image disappeared, and the room was stilled once more. Suddenly, the library’s entrance creaked open.

lll Sparrowpaw: "Oh...err...I don't know much about him actually. I just hope he doesn't tell anyone I was in Thunderclan territory...Or worse yet, find out why!"
One failed attempt after another and Scatterpaw finally managed to help the Thunderclan apprentice out from the ditch he had become trapped in. She was surprised by his reaction, however, as he did not seem grateful for her heroic actions. Rather, he was more concerned of her being a Shadowclanner than her good deeds. Not wanting him to find out the reason for her trespassing, the she-cat quickly fled the scene, back to the safety of her own land.

Riverclan

lll lll lll / lll Toadthroat: To the old warrior's complete dismay, the young she-cat is convinced Toadthroat is lonely and insists on following him around and keeping him company. So far she is trying out every game she knows on the red warrior to see which he likes best. She is also fascinated by his scent...it seems so familiar...yet she doesn't know from where. At one point, the large feline snapped, irritated by Scatterpaw's perky pestering, and hit her. She recovered soon after, but a faint, lingering fear still clings to her heart.

Morningsong: Meeting along the Riverclan boarder, the to became friendly almost instantly. Promising to meet later when they weren't busy, the two have been having quite the adventure. After finally catching the enormous rabbit and playing in the field of butterflies, they discovered an immense wounded hound in the forest. Currently they are taking care of it and it has eaten the rabbit they worked so hard to catch.

Skyclan

lll lll lll lll Jetpaw: Scatterpaw's first crush. She has fallen head over paws for the self-absorbed Skyclan apprentice, believing him to be absolutely amazing. And much to the young tom's horror, she has begun to stalk him. >:3

lll lll lll lll Gorsepaw: Scatterpaw met with the tom briefly, and even attempted to drag him along on one of her little adventures. Scatterpaw was curious as to what the mysterious tom was doing on her territory, but never found out. She never really knew him well, but was saddened by his death nonetheless.

Windclan

lll Ashenflight: After playing a seemingly harmless prank on the rather sensitive she-cat, Ashenflight felt little humor. Scatterpaw continued to try and tease a smile out of the calico she-cat, but only managed to embarrass her further.

Loner/Rogue

lll lll {} Sammy: After only a day of play together, Scatterpaw considers him her best friend. Used to the melancholy, emotionless cats of Shadowclan, he was a great change. The young tom even gave her a gift! A little kittypet collar bell he found in a tree house they discovered. Though not actually related, Scatterpaw thinks of the younger cat like a little brother. She worries for Sammy's safety, what with being all alone in the wild, and has taken it upon herself to try and teach him basic battle and hunting skills, though she maybe coming on as a bit harsh in her frantic worry to keep him safe.

lll lll lll lll {} lll Damain: Scatterpaw is convinced he saved her life, and much to the rogue's initial dismay, she refused to stop following him about like a little duckling and insisting he teach her everything he knows. Eventually he warmed up to her, and after hearing his backstory, Scatterpaw invited him to join her family and become her elder brother. He agreed. Now she just has to find a way to tell her family...

:bulletred: Scatterpaw felt slightly betrayed. After introducing Damian to her brother Loonpaw, he later denied the position of being her 'older brother'. She doesn't feel entirely broken however, as he pledged to remain her friend and a guardian like figure to her and her family.

Roleplay Sample:

Anura dismally paced the dark, stuffy library of her father’s villa. Her eyes caught a snatch of gleaming red; something was reflecting a weak ray of the watery sunlight managing to trickle from the crack between the heavy, drawn curtains. Turning her head to examine the cause of this obnoxious show of bright laughter in such a stark room and dreary period; she found herself studying a large, overstuffed chair and next to it a small, modest side table. A thick, perky red volume sat upon the table, one of it bright crimson corners having deflected the light. Another wave of anxiousness took hold of Anura’s heart, pinching tight her waning hope. A cheerful scene took shape before her. Upon the chair, a jovial ginger cat sat comfortably, his young daughter, quite unlike him in appearance, sitting upon his lap. Together, they flipped the pages of the cerise storybook, laughing and having quite a good time together. Suddenly, the image disappeared, and the room was stilled once more. Suddenly, the library’s entrance creaked open.
