Actually its not hard to make at all. Rice pretty much you set in a rice cooker and let it do its own thing. Salmon i baked so thats another thing i really didn't do much. fruit and crackers you don't exactly make and some of the items in there are store bought! about the only real thing i took time cooking was the egg dish on the far left and the riceball egg things on the right and the octo dogs. the real challeng is arranging them which took a bit of time but making bento is generaly easy, i'm sure you could do it if you tried! anyway thanks!!!

XD Oh great! Try it out, its actually quite fun! First few times will take you the longest but that is a learning process. Just keep at it and in no time you'll be able to make fun filled tasty bentos! XD Once you make one join my club and show our members! We'd all love to see your bento creation!

any tips on keeping it fresh?

Use items that do not spoil easily like corn, rice, egg, chicke, etc. also keep wet foods away from dry foods. if your food is hot when you put it in the bento give it time to cool to room temp so that the condensation will not form inside the box, spoiling your food. if you have wet/moist items with your food make sure to separate them with cupcake cups, silicon dividers, plastic containers/etc. if you want to make something quick always prep your foods the night before... that way in the morning all you have to do is assemble and go. Hope that helps!
