Description
deerdeerdeerdeerThis was pretty much another experiment with my moleskine using actual watercolors and colored pencils. It's touched up in photoshop a little bit 'cause I managed to draw this on the page right where the strings binding the page were.
This was going to be an artslam thing (where I just completed pictures and did a scan of my progress every day), but I'm just going to fail myself at this point. XD I'm not going to be able to catch up on what I missed this month. I think I'll try to restart either next month of August though!
On the other hand, now I have a bunch of progress scans of this thing, which I may upload in a couple days so you guys can see how I did it. o3o I complete a lot of things the same way twice but it may be interesting regardless.

Ghoosst looking over at the dev of the progress and how you color, holy damn. You put so much effort into your coloring! No wonder I'm in love with your traditional art :'D It also was really cool to see how you go through the steps and layering up the detail. I love the way you do fur, and those STORMCLOUDS
socool The little charges of electricity in there- ahhh<33
Whenever a storm cloud rolls in I'm going to think of a deer up there, just thought I should say that ROFL
but really this is gorgeous

Thank you! ;3; I'm so much more used to coloring with marker, so I just kind of flopped through the colored pencil part here. 8'D But I'm soooo proud of it, ahhhhhh. Assuming you didn't get the pages wet with anything (lololol XDD), moleskine pages are super smooth on pencils! You should totally get one and play with it sometime. 8D

You are a badass. That is all.
No, really. XD I liked the look at the process, too! The horns slay me, and the texture on the fur and the clouds is really awesome. You can accomplish so much variation with traditional media- it's impressive! XD

Whaaat, awww, thank you Wind! ;3333; I just have a lot (a lot) of different media on hand to doink around with. <33333 This was fun though! I'm super rusty at colored pencils so I was SO HAPPY when the fur started coming out all nice. ;333;

Very cool. I love the cloud texture and all the colors involved. Those cloud-shaped antlers are mad cool too. I'd be pretty interested to see the process behind this one.

Thank you! I'm a chunk of the way through putting the process stuff together @_@ mostly have to decide what to write...which probably isn't much. Mostly just me fooling around. XD
