a steampunk "shotgun" that shoots fireballs

the reservoir cannister holds the highly flammable gel, which is pressurised when pumped and formed in the smaller spherical chamber at high pressure, when the trigger is pressed, it is ejected at high velocity which helps keep the gel in a ball shape and ignited inside the barrel, the gel sticks to it's target and bursts into a fireball and is impossible to extinguish

now it looks like it also features a underlever action, that is simply for removing the fuel cannister
