I ran into this shot of yours in Penfury's favourites. You posted this one before I knew about your work.
The colours are very striking indeed. Did you use HDR?
I don't know if you ever posted the poem in its own "write", but if not, I think you should.

Hi Alec
This shot was taken with my old Kodak point n shoot camera and it had a tendency to really saturate the colors. the scene was vivid to begin with as it was fairly late in the day and I did adjust the contrast a bit to help the colors pop. This is a single shot and not HDR--I don't use HDR as yet, I've tried it with disastrous resluts
I've never posted the poem on it's own--I could, I suppose though I've really backed off posting my work on DA.

Wow, this image is full of life. It draws me in and holds me there. Great use of the rule of thirds and I really like the overall perspective of the shot. The lighting is dynamite and I can taste the colors.
