Osiris grumbled as another lump of sand swiftly escaped from his magical grasp and covered the wooden floor, this was the Quill's ninth attempt at moving even a grain from one vase to the other.

"Kwo?"

"I'm fine," he lied, frustration filling his voice. "Just hold it still."

Sagira's tail gripped the vase and kept it close to her owner, she grew worried as Osiris dropped another chunk. The Runeboo noticed the small sweat droplets forming on his temples, and the glands glowing weaker at every attempt.

This task was draining him.

One would think such ability would help a common farmer, but Osiris is not intending to be that, so this was both pointless and tiring at the same time.

At the eleventh try, a sudden migraine stopped the Quill's Magic and the sand fell just mere centimeters away from Sagira's vase.

"Kwaa?!" Sagira left the vase and rushed to assist him.

Osiris hissed at the pain, hand on his head waiting for the pain to fade away. His Runeboo leaned on his body and focused her magic to slowly heal the Quill, if only just a little help to ease the headache.

"Thank you, Sagira." He breathed.

"Kwhoo."

"I can't, we're short on time and I need to get this done."

Before the Runeboo could respond, a passerby approached the duo.

"Hey uhm, you need help?" Said the newcomer with a friendly smile and paw rising to wave at the Quill.

Osiris eyed the Quad with an intimidating look that crashed Sagira's hopes of freeing her owner from his sandy misery. "No."

"O-oh," quietly replied the Quad, not expecting that reaction, "well I-I'll stay here close if you change your mind!" And with that, they left the group.

Recollecting himself from the headache, Osiris continued on the task, ignoring his pet's barks and demands.

Someday he must learn to accept help, she thought.

I like to think this is the hardest ability for him to learn, just one more week and the fun begins owo
