Just a small idea that I had a while ago. I think that I've already drawn a cyborg wolf before, but it was really long ago and I like the concept. To sort of explain what is going on here, imagine a sci-fi future where we are all kept in check by these wolf/dog machines the Government made. These machines are only open to the police force, army and Government. S.C.A.R.O.B (Security CAnine RObots of Britain) is the company responsible of the creation of both designs.

The L.U.C.Y:
L.U.C.Ys (LUpine CYborgs) are the older model of canine robots, that ran on steam or oxygen. As the name suggests, these robots are actually half alive, as they start off as normal canines (that the Government also own) and once they reach the correct age, S.C.A.R.O.B takes them and adds mechanical parts to them that never tire out and stop the body from ageing further. However, they are still half alive, as they still have all of the organs they used to, can still breathe and can still consume ''food'' to be converted into energy, even though they are capable of running only on steam/oxygen. Because of this, they still have the ability to learn and feel/have emotion, and will sometimes choose to become attached to a certain individual (or more than one) they trust. They were then used in the army and police force as patrol canines, guards and rescue dogs before the C.A.M was created.
(Small note: Since L.U.C.Y is half alive, it takes the gender of the wolf/dog it once was, so they don't all have to be female despite the name.)

The C.A.M:
C.A.Ms (CAnine Machines) are the much more advanced versions of L.U.C.Ys, and run on only electricity. They were given their name because they have a camera implanted into them (so that the Government could monitor any suspicious behaviour), which was something L.U.C.Ys couldn't have without permanently damaging something and/or becoming unstable. In contrast to its earlier model, C.A.Ms never were alive, and are nothing more than a computer operated shell. They didn't have the ability to feel and form bonds, and were therefore seen as more reliable. They surpassed the L.U.C.Y in everything they did, and so they replaced them as Soldiers, being faster and more intelligent, while L.U.C.Ys became Workers because of their durable design and brute strength.
