OK, this is my 2nd attempt at painting. It was a disaster from the start, with me not bothering to plan it all out, I didn't realise that I had done the eyes too large and too high up on the canvas.This was done really quickly for me in about 35 hours and I think it shows. I will never like this painting but I've learned many things which is a good thing! Comments are welcome, but nothing too harsh please.
About 10 inches squarish, sorry about the photo quality, I just couldn't get the camera to behave. The right eye rim has detail this doesn't show!

How do you think the eyes are too high on the canvas, wouldn't part of the tigers face have been cut off if they were lower. Anyways I like this painting, excellent for a second attempt.

The only think in this painting that I can find even remotely "bad" is the texture on the tiger's muzzle. It seems sort of...odd? Maybe the shadows are a bit too deep? But the eyes are lovely. Beautiful color and the highlights are nicely done.

i think the rock(?) in the foreground is a little distracting...maybe less texture/contrast would help the tiger to pop more. aside from that this is a very beautifully styled painting.
