hey kea I have a couple of questions.
do ring fiends need to feed regularly or once they have soul they don't need more unless their Ring breaks?
is that thing on the horn of this one, it's ring?

A Ring Fiend requires food in order to sustain its bodily functions. Without food, the body of a fiend will atrophy and it will eventually become immobile. It will be unable to move, talk, or even blink. Once this happens, the Fiend will appear dead, despite not being so.
Given that the "true" Ring Fiend is actually the demon residing within the Ring, kept alive by the soul it has taken, a Ring Fiend will not truly die as long as its ring is intact. However, unless said body is repaired, the Fiend is basically dead physically if it gets no food for a long period of time.

Sure! If your story is 500+ words, it is legible for the contest and if you win them, you can make that story canon to your character (as long as it takes place within the world of Mithiel).
