10 years ago the first Equestria Girls movie came out. Not only was this the debut of this movie, but it was also the first debut of Flash Sentry and the shipping, Flashlight.

I know this isn’t the original Flashlight ship (Princess Twilight x Human Flash Sentry), but I’ve never drawn Equestria Girls style, and it probably would’ve taken a lot more time for me doing that than the pony version.

When I first watched this movie 4 years ago (yes, I was that late), I actually liked Flash and the feelings Twilight had towards him. So when she bumped into his pony version again, I thought he would be a character that would have a role through time to time. But it didn’t happened, and it left me wondering why. It surprised me that people didn’t like him for… reasons, let’s just keep it at that. But even though he had less of a role and the interactions they had, that didn’t stop from shipping these two. I like the original Flashlight, but I also love Pony Flashlight. I am neutral with SciFlash due to the circumstances they have together.

I will always love these two no matter what. Their love for each other may be cliche in the first film, but I can’t help but find it cute with the two. Especially the way Twilight blushes around him.
