Symbolism can be staid and not always fully relate what it represents. The shape of the Kabbalah in the painting is purposefully not geometrically accurate, to give it a sense of organic life force, floating in front of the tree, so hopefully it can convey the 'feeling' as much as the thought of the meaning.
