Personality: Generally flashy and stylish, this Kao loves to be the star of the show, and may come off as a bit egotistical. In reality, he's quite caring towards, but doesn't easily show it due to his air of self confidence. If you get to know him better, though, it's easier to tell, as his giving attitude and anxiety begin to crop up. Being a mutated Kao through familial ties, and being Phantasmal, he pushes his fear of being different back, focusing on his passions instead. If you're particularly close to him, though, you'll see these repressed emotions seep through in private. He's non-combative, like many of his kin, but will use his abilities in an emergency, or when he needs to defend himself.
Ability: Transformative paint
Lex can use paint or makeup to create certain effects, and is able to use his unique ability on others, or himself. For example, he can paint a part of his body silver with paint, and influence it to become hard and armor-like, as it takes on a metallic quality, able to deflect a sword attack with the area underneath left protected and unharmed. He could draw gills on another Kao with makeup, and they will become functional, allowing them to breathe underwater briefly. These effects will only last a short time, however, and never last, as the paint or makeup will fade away as they are used up. They are only restricted by his own imagination, but whole items cannot be created with this ability. Often enough, he will do special paint jobs for clients, but no matter what, the painting will always have a glittery, sparkly look to it, making it stand out.
Occupation/Living space: Makeup merchant, living in Carnival. He makes a living, creating and selling various makeup products from naturally occurring substances and various things he finds and is supplied with, as well as giving paying customers a makeover. (Though, if he thinks you need it, he'll give you a free one.) He sticks to staying in Carnival, not feeling safe enough to venture out of it. Aside from being a store owner, he also enjoys drawing and painting, but considers this to be a hobby, and his home is filled with various painted canvases and sketchbooks.
