Description Shiva and the Snake Pendant: Sterling with a star ruby inlaid into a citrine chrysoprase stone. The chain in hand-woven Viking weave. And, peridot set in the tip.

This piece is a play on the symbolisms surrounding Shiva in the Hindu folklore. Instead of being a symbol of evil, it represents Kundalini energy that is coiled up in the base of everyone's spine. It's a yoga thing

I like that this design makes me think of a papoose like our indigenous peoples used to carry their babies in.

I'm in awe of this one. Snakes hold such special meaning for me--you could only ever post incredible snake pieces and I'd be so content....

Snakes are cool, but many come into the shop and get put off by them. I have to admit that I've never been a big fan of real snakes, but they are so loaded with symbolic meaning that they work great in designs.
