I've actually been wanting to draw a black mermaid lately, so the announcement of Halle Bailey as Ariel was perfect timing! She is a singing goddess, and endlessly adorable, they couldn't have picked anyone better for the part! The Little Mermaid is still my favorite movie of all time, and I trust them to do it justice in the live action.I'm not very good at drawing real-life humans in my anime style, and after my Claire Redfield disaster drawing, I was pretty nervous about this one. I think it looks pretty ok?
The background came out so much better than I was expecting. I'm starting to really, really enjoy doing them.
Full view is WAAAYYYYY better.
