This is an adopt I've been working on for a while now. I'm very busy recently but I figured I'd upload a wip of this lovely adorable bean~~ I would like any feedback on if anyone's interested in them! I probably won't have time to finish this for another week or so.I'm showing the outfit only on one so you can see what the shading looks like. This is my first time shading as Yuu typically does any digital shading for me since I have zero experience with it... But I love how it's turning out so far! The finished product will have the outfit on both and then come with the nude versions of both and the one on the right will remain flat colored.
So I'm thinking of adding a couple small accessories or stockings to this design. Still don't have a color palette planned for the clothes, but I'll get to it eventually. (Please suggest one if you have any ideas~~!) I'm not sure if I'll have it be an offer to adopt, a set price adopt, or an auction... We're in need of money lately but I also don't want to overprice it too much. Though I've already spent like 5 hours on it since I'm so inexperienced with digital art lol, so no matter what I'll have to keep the price pretty low in comparison to that...
I love this base! It seems to make everything so much cuter than it normally would be, it's definitely worth the 100
for such a good base. I was even able to change my brush settings for my pen to match the lineart pretty easily~~ Omg this base is so easy to make femboys on~~~

Before you imply that someone has copied your design, please get your facts straight.
I'm not mad, just concerned. Because "stealing" is taken very seriously in the art world.
Even just implying that I copied your design could get me blacklisted from groups and keep people from buying from me even though the design is completely my own. Not to mention, this is a shared account so it would also discredit my partner's (the love of my life) art along with mine.

This is something that could seriously tarnish an adopt maker's reputation. If you accuse another adopt maker of 'stealing' or 'copying' "your" design, it gets around fast. Groups blacklist immediately, and potential adopt buyers will avoid us like the plague. Of course, unless we were to go about showing each and every member of each group proof that ours was uploaded weeks before yours, rumors of us 'copying' would drive others away. :/ I think you owe us more than a half-hearted 'sry', and could at LEAST have the common decency to actually type out the word "sorry". You were in the wrong, stop acting the role of victim and un-hide your comment where you made the accusation.
You really have some nerve trying to start drama on our page when my partner's deviation has been uploaded, may I remind, for well longer than yours has. Get your facts straight before you try to start things with other deviants.
I suggest you don't jump to conclusions so quickly, others won't be as forgiving as we are.

It just seemed like this was a new deviation because I started submitting it to groups tonight.
In the future try to research a little more, that way you can be more sure about it~

I don't have to do anything to my adopt. I posted my adopt before they did, and I worked VERY hard on what I have so far.

If you're worried about other people having a similar design to yours then change the one you adopted, because I can guarantee there are tons of anthros out there that have a similar pattern and color to mine and the one you adopted.
I'm fine with criticism, but I will not tolerate any drama...

I am in fact sorry for getting somewhat annoyed, however, and I do apologize for my behavior. I did not check the time stamps on the images. Though, I do believe that we BOTH could have handled it better.

It's alright, I wasn't trying to be rude, so I'm sorry if it came off that way. The creator of your character also ended up commenting about it... Saying it was 'too similar'
I'm not upset, just wish you both would have looked at the times first (or at least asked me XD).
And I was serious about changing your character design if you're not happy with it looking similar to mine.
You don't have to, just a suggestion for a solution.
Accusing people of copying is a serious thing... If it got around that I copy adopts I could be kicked from all of the adopt groups I'm in all because of a false rumor.
That's the only thing I'm worried about at this point, so I hope you can understand.

Would you like it to be different in any way? I was thinking maybe a baby blue for the shirt instead? and any preference for eye color?
