I don't like The War Doctor at all. I think he was a bad idea poorly executed, so a while ago I made a picture of Brian Blessed as an alternative version of The War Doctor which I called The Warrior. Now I’ve done another variation of The Warrior/War Doctor this time starring Christopher Lee as The Warrior.
Other than the mechanical hand I gave Brian Blessed to signify this incarnation of The Doctor has been through some tough times the look of the new Warrior is completely different. Instead of armour this new version is dressed in the same fashion as the 4th and 7th Doctors, that being the costume is a mismatch of different styles that wouldn’t necessarily be worn together normally but as a whole makes for a striking outfit. In this case the outfit is a mismatch of different militarily uniforms from throughout the ages to give him a more steampunk spy / assassin look. Maybe with this incarnation theirs not so much a soldier feel like the Brian Blessed one. But he's a Warrior nonetheless

Sigh. If only they had already come up with “The Master” when Cushing had his take on the franchise, they could have “Hammered” it up with Lee as Master to Cushing’s Doctor!

If he is alive so that he can play a Time Lord a stunning bill. Or he could play Rasslion the President of all Time Lord. a very good choice I would say.
But did you to honour his name forever. Excellent artwork to honour him.

I created my own Doctor who is based on British actress Rebecca Hall, and all my fan fiction tales are a homage to the Hammer Horror movies. I could also see Christopher Lee being a Doctor involved in gothic horror stories in the same manner as the early Tom Baker years.

Your art is great stuff. I wish I could draw like that, but I focused most of my work on photoshopping. How do you do the artwork? Is it entirely by hand?
I do miss the gothic horror stories. I think the new series really shies away from it a little too much. They need to be more daring and do more horror/science fiction tales much like they did during the Troughton, Pertwee and Tom Baker days. (and you can throw the second half of Sylvester McCoy too).
I think Rebecca Hall could bring a lot of nobility to the role.

The way I draw a character like Christopher Lee here is on A3 I will draw the body with pencils, then on a separate sheet I will draw the head. Then I scan the A3s on my computer and do the line work in Illustrator using the pen tool, then I use a super old program called Paintshop Pro 8 to colour and shade the image (but Photoshop will work just as well if not better I use the old program just for comfort and out of habit.) Then just Drop the shaded image behind the illustrator line work. I will then use solid colour blocks at different opacity's to defuse the shading and make it less harsh. For backgrounds its basically the same idea.

You should do a video showing how you work! That sounds like a very complicated and creative process! I would definitely watch that video to try my hand at some of this work.
I've done two comic book stories involving my version of the Doctor and those worked out rather well using photos and cartoon embellishments. Working on a third one too.

Oooh the Doctors Dad good call. But I must disagree other secret incarnation is a bad idea. Secret incarnations on the whole is a bad idea, it never works. This is just my version of if you have to do it at least make it interesting which John Hurt as 8.5 wasn't.

I enjoyed the performance of John Hurt, in an otherwise mundane story. I lost interest in Doctor Who after "Day of the Doctor".

If you're going to add one secret incarnation why not two or three or four, heck why not have The Doctor burn through an entire secret regeneration cycle of National treasure actors fighting the time war. If you're going to forever destroy the continuity at least be creative haha.
