Thank you! Yeah, the farm there gets plenty of rainfall and drainage for the fields so the only thing we need the water for, really, is the animals and the toolshed, so it's next to the barn because it's less of a walk

Well I live in Circleville, which is like ten minutes away, so it's a common place for me to go hiking.

Oh hey! I live just outside of Lithopolis (technically Canal Winchester city limits, but they're all kind of overlapping around here). So I know the feeling ^_^ I usually go to Slate Run, but I get out to Hocking Hills, Rising Park, ect. as well. They all have some fantastic trails

Rising Park is great, I need to get out there with my camera. I love the Hills also. Have you been to A.W. Marion State Park?

It's a nice park. There is a five mile trail leading around the lake which is a great trail to get away from it all.

Thank you! And I agree... unfortunately the farm is run by the park system and only open from 9am-4pm, and not even that much in the winter when it would actually be closer to dawn. Sigh, oh well. Perhaps someday ^_^
