I really wanted to think about this design and sit on it for awhile. I wanted an angelic beautiful looking wing structure, but still have it be sci-fi/alien like. I wanted a strong knightly look to the helm, so combined the fringe from a roman helmet, the wing sides from a valkyrie helmet and eye guard from medieval english knight helmets.
