Description
The B Virus Worm Experiment, or otherwise known as B-W, was accidently released into the 40 acre forest surrounding the private operations facility where the original B-Virus research was being created and withheld.

The B-W was the result of the B virus being genetically blended with the DNA of an earthworm and a centipede.
The mutation took place only minutes after the virus was intwined with this hybrid concoction. Within a matter of hours, the head of the facility had to put an end to the insectile-based research involving the B virus to further prevent any other unnecessary outbursts of mutations, that could possibly risk harm or outside spread of infection.
Unfortunately, the specimen escaped before any sterilization could take place, and later in the midst of outbreak-chaos, got out and dug itself deep into the forest, never to be seen again, at least not by the employees.

OTHER BIO
Since it won't be until way later till I post his concept art in my scraps, I'll explain here a few things to help better understand this creature.
Even though he may be a worm and a good digger, he also has very long insect-like legs that unfold from eachother on the surface of ground, which then can be willingly folded back into his slimey multi-layered body before he borrows once again.
Like the common earthworm, his body produces an infinite amount of slime that helps his body pass through the thick soil easily. He also uses this slime to protect his many folding legs when they aren't being used.

This creature was originally created in 2003, but I hadn't really brought him back out from my Resident Evil artpile until recently.
