I have no idea how but i would like to put this image in my journal's background. Ghuh. Oh well, while it stands on my computer like nothing, I prefer putting it on my gallery and get some comments about it. So yup. If anyone knows how because I suck, then tell me ^^Related content

I don't like it. It seems way too fake. Maybe it's because I've seen so much morbid stuff from you (and in dA in general) that stuff like this seems bland and boring. Obviously, it's a backround thing for your journal so it's not SUPPOSED to be big and eye catching and shit... but I'm just being honest ;D
About the critique though, I think this would be a lot better if you through some life and personality into it. There's not much compassion for a pinned up figure, no matter how grotesque. It's kinda like taxidermy... the things look so far from being alive that you forget that they ever WERE alive (and don't be lazy if you don't know what taxidermy is, lol).
Basically what I'm saying is that you should try to make this amputee seem alive. Don't just showcase her broken body on a flat backround, stretched out for everyone to see. have her sitting on a bench, waiting at a bus-stop, with other people walking around. With her leg-stumps hanging over the bench, her arm-stump hanging by her side, and her one arm resting across her thighs. and have her back hunched and her neck leaning forward, so you can tell if she did have a head, it would be hanging low.
And draw all the other people walking by just not giving a fuck.
