As Acornheart padded beside Bushclaw, the tom couldn't help but feel an anxiety rising in him at the thought of the task that laid ahead of them. He dreaded to see those dogs once again- to come face to face with them. Just the memory of them made the scars on his pelt burn.
But it was something he would do for his clan. For all the clans. Many cats had already fallen to the jaws of these dogs. He was lucky himself to make it out alive, although he didn't want to think about the horrible deaths of the cats who fell victim to the beasts. It was their job to make sure that their clanmates deaths would not go without reasoning.
Seeing the groups begin to split up, Acornheart gave a look around before flicking his tail. "Should we head to the other side of the Thunderpath?" he meowed in question to his partner. "Or should we wait closer to the Twoleg place for the dogs?"
