You mean for the painting hanging on the wall? I used part of a poppies photo, painted on it to get the effect of the sky and such and all the different colors, and I ran a texture filter over it for canvas to make it appear as if it were a real traditional painting - does that answer the question or did I get it wrong lol

Yep I bought this photo of some poppies from a stock site, painted on some color and stuff like that, and used a texturizer to give it the "canvas" traditional feel. It took me ages to get the colors right when painting on there though I wanted it to look like some sort of traditional watercolor or oil or something...

hope that makes sense!

Photoshop has a texture filter, I hate using filters but in moderation this one worked really well for what I needed.

Well it turned out perfect, looked like an oil painting to me. Thank you for all the help. I'll get to those digital tutorials as soon as I can.
